Darryl Williams, currently a resident of Temecula ,
California is a multi-talented bassist/composer who has
toured and performed with many of the top Smooth Jazz
and RnB artist of today. Some of those artist include Jeff
Golub, Euge Groove, Mindi Abair, Peter White, Chaka Khan,
Jeff Lorber, Four80East, U-Nam, Tevin Campbell, Gloria Gaynor, Ronnie
Foster, Everette Harp, Clint Holmes, Marcus Johnson and
many more. In 2008, Williams released a solo album
entitled “That Was Then” which received high praises from
several top smooth jazz writers and dj’s. Noted jazz writer
Brian Soergel says, “ Is there room for another smooth jazz
bassist to join the ranks of Wayman Tisdale, Brian
Bromberg, Michael Manson and Gerald Veasley? In the
case of Darryl Williams the answer is an enthusiastic yes!
